The 25th International SST Users’ Symposium and GHRSST Science Team Meeting will take place in Montreal, Canada from June 10th to 14th. The event will be co-hosted by Environment and Climate Change Canada and Université du Québec à Montréal.

Logistical Information
If you plan on attending the 25th International SST Users’ Symposium and GHRSST Science Team Meeting in-person in Montreal, Canada please read the following information on Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) and Visa Applications.
Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) and Visa applications
All in-person participants should apply for an eTA to fly to Canadian airports, except residents of the United States. The cost of the eTA is 7 $CA. The application eTA form and further information can be found at the following web site: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/eta/about.html
Most applicants receive their eTA approval via an email within minutes. However, some requests may take several days to process if you are asked to submit supporting documents. It is recommended to apply for an eTA before you book your flight to Canada.
A Visa might be required by some attendees. For more information about the need for a Visa, please consult the following web site: https://ircc.canada.ca/english/visit/visas.asp The visa process may take some time. Therefore, it is recommended that in-person attendees apply as soon as possible.

The meeting will take place at Agora du Coeur des sciences (CO-R500), pavillon Cœur des sciences 175, avenue du Président-Kennedy Montréal (Québec) H2X3P2.

The Montreal-Pierre Elliot Trudeau (YUL) international airport is located at 20 km from downtown Montreal, the meeting venue. The easiest way to travel from the airport to downtown is by taxi (~50 $CA ).
There is a shuttle service (10 $CA) that runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from YUL to downtown (747 YUL Aéroport Montréal-Trudeau / Centre-ville shuttle | Société de transport de Montréal (stm.info) https://www.stm.info/en/info/networks/bus/local/line-747-east/, closest bus stop is René-Lévesque / Jeanne-Mance).
Car rentals from all the major agencies are also available at the airport.

The average maximum temperature is 24 C and minimum temperature is 13 C. The average monthly precipitation for June is 87 mm.
