About Sheekela Baker-Yeboah

Dr. Baker-Yeboah is NOAA/NESDIS/Office of Satellite and Products Operations (OSPO), USA, and member of the GHRSST science team.

Dr. Baker-Yeboah received her Ph.D. in Oceanography University of Rhode Island. Currently, Dr. Baker-Yeboah works as a Physical Scientist (ZP-4) at NOAA/NESDIS/Office of Satellite and Products Operations (OSPO) as the Product Area Lead for both Sea Surface Temperature and Ocean Color satellite data. Dr. Baker-Yeboah’s interests include Dynamical processes of upper and deep ocean vortices and interocean exchanges in the southeastern South Atlantic using analytical/numerical simulations and data assimilation of information from satellites and in-situ instruments.
