Anne Reed

Anne Reed (formerly O’Carroll) works as an Ocean Remote Sensing Scientist at EUMETSAT and leads the Surface Temperature Radiometry team in the Marine Applications (MA) area of the Remote Sensing and Products Division (RSP). Activities are related to Surface Temperature for both ocean and sea-ice, including reference Sentinel-3 SLSTR SST/IST products, Metop/SG-IASI/IASI-NG, collaboration with the EUMETSAT OSI-SAF, and establishing Fiducial Reference Measurements for SST/IST to support Copernicus validation. Preparations have begun for global SST from future missions including CIMR and the Sentinel-3 Next Generation Optical mission.
