Short Survey on Cloud Detection Requirements for Coastal SST

12 May 2020 Published by

Dear Colleagues,

We are currently involved in a EUMETSAT Copernicus study looking at SST in coastal regions.  These regions are important for many applications including protection of at risk species e.g. coral, fishing, tourism and livelihoods.  We are particularly keen to understand the user requirements on cloud detection schemes used when generating SST products over these regions and as such have put together a short survey that will gather this information.  Please do complete this survey if it is relevant to your work, and please also feel free to distribute this more widely to colleagues and contacts you may have who are exploiting SST in coastal zones and shallow waters.  The deadline for participation in the survey is Friday 29th May.  The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete.

Thank you very much for your contributions.
