Dear GHRSST Colleagues,

The ISFRN workshop brings together scientific and operational users and producers of in situ radiometer SST data to review progress, achievements and potential developments within the radiometer community. The meeting is open to anyone actively involved and interested in SST science and the use of in situ radiometers. Information on the ISFRN is available at http://ships4sst.org/ .

Meeting Aim

The aim of the ISFRN Workshop is to:

  • present and discuss ship-borne satellite SST validation activities and results within the community,
  • explore and encourage data use,
  • explore instrument uses and designs,
  • to share the findings of the partners in the ISFRN service,
  • and to help develop future priorities.

Meeting Format

The meeting will use plenary discussions and keynote talks to focus on specific subjects. It will be split into two session over two days to allow participants to join from around the world.
