Registration for the workshop closes tomorrow!

An International SST Fiducial Reference Measurement Network (ISFRN) Service Review Meeting will take place on 27 – 28 February 2019 at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, UK.

This meeting brings together scientific and operational users and producers of in situ radiometer SST data to review progress, achievements and potential developments within the radiometer community. The meeting is open to anyone actively involved and interested in SST science and the use of in situ radiometers. Information on the ISFRN is available at

Meeting Aim

The aim of this meeting is to present and discuss ship-borne satellite SST validation activities and results, and to share the findings of the partners in the ISFRN service.

Meeting Format

The meeting will use plenary discussions and keynote talks to focus on specific subjects, with coffee breaks to allow for networking. A poster session will be used to promote research and discussion. The agenda is posted here.

Pre-registration to the meeting is required. There is no registration fee. To register, please contact with your name and contact details, whether you would like to join us for a social dinner on the first evening (details to come), and state whether you would like to bring a poster for the poster session (please provide the title of your poster).
