Chelle Gentemann

Dr. Gentemann’s research focuses on air-sea interactions, diurnal warming, passive-microwave SST retrievals, instrument calibration, and radio frequency interference. Dr. Gentemann is a member of two National Academy of Science committees and on the advisory board for the Group for High Resolution Sea Surface Temperatures (www.GHRSST.org).  In 2008 she was awarded the National Oceanographic Partnership Program’s Excellence in Partnering Award and in 2013, the American Geophysical Union’s Charles S. Falkenberg Award.
