Accomodations are at the same hotel as the meeting. A block of 60 rooms has been reserved for the Users Symposium and Science Team Meeting from 28 May - 6 June 2009. Our conference room size will depend on the number of rooms booked, so we please request that you stay at the conference hotel.
The Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel & Spa is a first class hotel in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country. It is located within 20 minutes to over 200 wineries, soaring redwood trees, and the Pacific Ocean. The hotel is situated next to the Historic Railroad Square District, offering easy walking access to numerous restaurants, lounges, cafes, and shopping venues.
Remote Sensing Systems has negotiated a special rate of US$159 per night. Extra nights can be booked at the same rate subject to availability. To get this special rate you must either use the link here or contact them directly at 011-707-284-1234 and state that you are part of the GHRSST group. We recommend booking early, especially if you plan on staying any weekend nights, as the rates are higher if you do not book with the group, and the hotel often is fully booked during May and June. Only a few rooms at this special rate are left, after they are gone, rates will at market rate (usually at least US$189-209/night). If you are unable to get the rate, make the reservation and then send an email to ghrsst10@remss.com.
There are a limited number of US federal government rates. We advise you to book early if you require a governement rate. To book at the government rate, use the link below, select dates for your stay, click 'check availability'. At this point, you will see the regular rates, delete the group/corporate # (g-ghrs) and select rate type 'government rate'. Click update rate and the goverment rate will display.
All participants are requested to make their own hotel arrangements.
A link to the special rate is here.
